Free StuffAre there free stuff on the web? Sure, there are plenty of them. Many sites offer free content. They cover their costs from ads placed throughout their site. Which sites that are free actually provide good content? Here is a collection of free sites I have found.


  • dafont – Are you in need of a new or exciting font? If so, this site offers many fonts for you to download ranging from freeware to a demo version.


  • clkr.com – This site offers free public domain clip arts.
  • stock.xchng – There are many images on this site. These images are free as long as you notify the artists about using the images and give credit to them.
  • All Silhouettes – This site offers a free collection of vector silhouettes. The silhouettes are available in EPS and JPG formats.
  • Vectory Lady – This site offers a collection of vectors. The vector images are available in EPS and JPG formats.
  • Open Clip Art Library – This site offers free public domain clip arts.


  • The Freesound Project – It has a huge database of audio snippets, samples, and recordings released under the creative commons license.
  • as3sfxr – This site allows you to create 1980’s sounds for games that is based on sfxr.
